2D Digital X-rays
2D X-rays are used to identify hard tissue changes such as cavities, bone loss, and missing or extra teeth and pathology. This is the standard technology we use in our office for all patients. Compared to traditional film x-rays, digital x-rays are faster, more comfortable, and expose patients to significantly less radiation.
3D X-Rays
With innovative 3D digital imaging, we’re able to get a more comprehensive view of a range of oral conditions. While we only recommend this imaging solution for at-risk patients, we can often identify pathology much earlier than with 2D x-rays.
